Comparing Your Marriage To Others

Effort makes love grow

I recently read an article that got me thinking about “loving my spouse”.   Do you think love is a CHOICE we make or a FEELING we have?
I believe love is a CHOICE.  I care more deeply for things I “choose” to spend time on (kids, relationships, even inanimate objects), so putting effort into my marriage will have a huge impact on our relationship.  Relationships take effort and my marriage is no different, but definitely more important.

Is the grass greener on the other side

I absolutely love this analogy:  If you think the grass is greener on the other side, maybe you should spend some time watering your own lawn.  Sounds reasonable right?  I think so!  I’ll leave you with something to ponder … maybe the grass on the other side is fake. (I think this happens more often than not when comparing yourself to others on social media)
I choose to love my spouse on good days ~ on bad days ~ for better and for worse.
