Becoming a Life Coach

Main Heading

For those of you that know me personally, you know how passionate I am about helping people. From being a stay-at-home mom, a Personal Trainer, a Nutritional Consultant, a Fascial Stretch Therapist, and now a blogger –  I want to help!
Shortly after I launched this website, someone approached me about Life Coaching.  Like my typical self, I dove right in and started researching the what’s, the why’s, and the how’s of life coaching.  I had heard of coaching, but never completely understood what it was.  Then, I scheduled a few personal sessions (with a certified coach) to see first hand what the buzz was all about.  I instantly fell in love with the process and can’t believe how much I grew in just 2 sessions (with 2 totally different coaches about 2 totally different things)!
After talking to my family and researching many different coach training schools I took the leap and decided to become a Certified Life Coach.  I started my training in October and recently got home from a 4 day live training in Tucson, AZ.   It was beyond amazing and informative. Needless to say – the last 3 months have been packed full of family, life, classes, and reading. I’ve learned so much about coaching programs, personality types, and guiding people to see this wisdom within themselves.   I like coaching because it:
  • is a thought-provoking and creative process
  • inspires you to maximize your potential
  • is positive, encouraging, uplifting
  • is a non-biased person to talk to about life
  • is client driven (towards your goals)
  • keeps you accountable
  • is not about what the coach thinks, it’s about what the client thinks, feels, and wants
My favorite thing about coaching is that the coach honors the client as the expert in his or her life and work and believes every client is creative, resourceful and whole.  No one knows you better than yourself!
My goal is to be there for women like us – I want women to feel self-confident, appreciated, loved, happy, and fulfilled.   What does a happy, healthy, and fulfilled life look like to you?
I will graduate from the The Institute for Integrative Coaching in May of 2018 and will work towards my accreditation, Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from The International Coach Federation immediately after.
I am so excited to be on a path of personal self-discovery, empowerment, growth, and fulfillment.
Here’s to helping people live life happy, healthy, and fulfilled!Becoming
